omg it's been so long since I posted. I created the blog with every intention of faithfully documenting the life of Mar. So here I go....again. Life has been fairly uneventful as of late. Last weekend I went to Joe's family reunion with Angie and my kids. No Joe and no Andy. He owes me. It was the same group of family members as always. Nice people. I do notice every year that the family seems to be growing all the time. New babies and toddlers everywhere. They were so so cute!
I'm thinking about going to Corning for Homecoming this year. CUHS homecoming was quite an event in town when I grew up. It still is. There is a big parade where the homecoming queen, bedecked in a long, boobie revealing dress complete with satin sash and her cabinet are driven through town while doing the queen wave. CUHS alumni, silver and gold ride through town in their old people glory on a big float. Oh it's a celebration. Then come evening time, there is a big alumni dinner in the cafeteria where you can eat turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy and look at old class pictures that line the cafeteria. When I was young one of my favorite things was showing my friends where my brothers and sisters and parents were in those pictures. I think my favorite is the foodball game. I'll never forget the sounds and smells of a Corning football game, and it's kinda funny to run into people you haven't seen for decades. I love it! I used to hate it...what a weirdo.

Oh Mar...and do you remember that we can hear the cheers and "ohhh nooos" of the crowd from our house? he weather has suddenly turned very fall like and it is chilly tonight...and homecoming is a week from tonight. Last year I rode in the "old peoples" big old float...and loved every minute of it...and didn't even feel old at all......
