Weeds

I was walking around out in Grandpa's field after Grandma died and there were so many of these little patches of weeds. They were so pretty that I had to post them. They remind me of how simple and how pretty life really is.

Our Anniversary

Today is our anniversary. I met Joe 10 years ago on my birthday, the day I turned 29. We've been married for eight years (my personal record). There is something really cool about being with somebody for years....I know I have grown a lot in the last 10 years and I'm happy that life has turned out the way it has. We have 2 kids and a happy home. Now let's see what the next ten years bring...

My Birthday

I turned 39 yesterday. No biggie, pretty uneventful. All of my people wished me happiness and health. As long as I have that....and them, I will be fine and dandy. A couple of people said, "You look good for being 39." What is that supposed to mean? Does it mean that for an old person I look ok? Or would I not look so ok if I were 26? Hmmm....I wonder what they'll say NEXT year. I'm not really worried about it. I've said for some time now that when I turn 40 I want to be in the best health of my life. Iwant to be physically healthy, healthy in my mind, in my spirit...you know what I mean. Anyway, I'm happy. I have a lot to be thankful for. :)
